The Colorful Lights of the Museum at Night: Winner of an Asian Award

Chulalongkorn University’s Museums and the Faculty of Science’s Museum have joined forces to create an exciting experience in the “Night at the Museum Festival,” or Touring the Museum by Night, which has been held in collaboration with the Museum Siam since 2016. Notable museums include Chulalongkorn University’s Natural History Museum, the Technology Museum, the Geology Museum, and the Professor Kasin Savatabandhu Herbarium —offering a wide range of knowledge and fun-filled experiences.

Recently, Museum Siam, together with over 50 museums across Thailand and supported by the Thailand Convention and Exhibition Bureau (TCEB), won the 2025 Asia Culture and Heritage Night, including the Night Market award, presented by IFEA Asia (International Festival & Events Association Asia), an international organization that supports and connects experts in festival and event management across the Asian region.

Receiving this award is a testimony to the success of the festival, which provides visitors with the chance to learn about their cultural and scientific heritage in a nighttime atmosphere. It also reflects the commitment to creating memorable experiences and promoting Thailand’s cultural tourism internationally.

The award received by Museum Siam and its Thai museum partners is a significant honor, proving the importance of international experience exchange and fostering collaboration for valuable event organization in Asia.

The sense of kinship and warmth found in the Chula community is priceless and a treasure worth keeping.
