Overview

Chulalongkorn Business School (CBS) is the most prestigious and top-ranked business school in Thailand that offer the first specialized graduate degree in Marketing, established more than 10 years ago. With the dynamic changes in the business environment, the School has rapidly moved forward and established a master’s degree in branding and marketing (MBM). The MBM is the first graduate program in Asia that concentrates on brand management.

The program is taught over a period of one year and a half to give students in-depth knowledge on branding and marketing. The students will learn from international branding gurus, international thought-leaders, and globally recognized faculty.

The MBM (English Program) students will greatly benefit from their time in the program which will not only provide world-class teaching but also create a lasting learning experiences while developing relationships among top students that will last for life.

The program aims at providing competent personnel for the world’s growing branding industry.  The concept of branding is currently being integrated with a variety of businesses. The brand knowledge provides concrete directions for organizations and is widely applicable in many marketing-related matters including value creation, customer relationship management, and corporate communication.

Chulalongkorn Business School (CBS) also has been awarded world-class accreditations from AACSB (the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business) and EQUIS (European Quality Improvement System) which represent the highest standard of achievement for business schools worldwide.  Less than 1 percent of business schools around the world have earned Accreditations. Only fittest candidates got selected to join the program, making MBM Chula one of the most competitive graduate programs in the country. Selected 25 top students will be taught in English and will have the opportunity to study overseas as part of their course on a Global Branding Seminar at University of Cambridge.

Admission

Admissions of Chula MBM (English Program) is open during 1st February to 31st May each year. You will need to complete the online application form and submit your application packet by the deadline.

Admission requirements

  • A bachelor’s degree in any field with at least 1 year of work experience
  • The program aims at recruiting top students.  You should have a high GPA and a degree with honors is preferable. If you could not demonstrate a strong academic record you may still be considered provided that you have a strong employment record.
  • English standardized test score is required:
    • International English Language Test Scheme (IELTS): minimum score is 6.5
    • Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL): minimum score is 80
    • Chulalongkorn University Test of English Proficiency (CU-TEP): minimum score is 80
    • References – You will need to submit two professional or academic references.
    • Statement of Purpose – Explain why and how Chulalongkorn Business School MBM (English) program fits your career and personal goals (maximum 500 words)
    • Application form – You will need to complete the online application form by the deadline.
