Overview

The Master of Business Administration (MBA) Program of Sasin School of Management was established in 1982 through a collaboration among Chulalongkorn University, Kellogg School of Management of Northwestern University, and The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. Today, Sasin is the leading business school in Thailand

Our MBA program includes the following options to best suit your career goals:

  • The Flexible MBA with full-time and part-time options
  • International Dual Degree

Flexible MBA

Choose your completion speed to best suit your commitments. The Flexible MBA is just that – flexible! We offer a full-time track and a part-time track so your MBA program fits in with your schedule. Whatever speed you choose to complete your MBA, you will participate in the same quality curriculum, with the same distinguished faculty members, and the same transformative action learning approach.

Full-time

  • Finish in as little as 12 months by turbocharging your program (weekday daytime and evening classes);

Part-time

  • Complete the program in 24 months by enrolling in just one course (weekday evening classes) every four-week module.
WHY Sasin MBA

1

Thailand’s First Globally Accredited Business School

In 2010, Sasin became the first business school in Thailand to receive international accreditation. Sasin was first accredited by AACSB, the US-based accreditation body, and then by EQUIS, the European-based accreditation organization. Sasin is still the only school in Thailand with full accreditations from both organizations, and one of the few Southeast Asia-based business schools with these two accreditations.

2

Global Opportunities & Network

Exposure to international business, multiple cultures, and global business problems is essential to creating successful business leaders. The Flexible MBA integrates an international perspective throughout the program, with almost every course involving international examples, cases, and perspectives. Students have many opportunities to learn about global business practices and develop international contacts within their class and among the faculty.

If you decide not to pursue an International Dual Degree, the Flexible MBA provides several global options.

Exchange Programs

Sasin offers Flexible MBA students access to an evolving network of exchange programs with over 30 leading b-schools in 16 countries around the world. Exchange programs give you the opportunity to live and study in another country while earning credit towards your MBA at Sasin. As a tool for building your future business network, exchange programs are invaluable. Each year 30-40 MBA students take this opportunity, and a similar number of students choose to visit and study at Sasin. Incoming Exchange Students work closely with their Sasin colleagues, providing further opportunities for cultural exchange and international networking.

The Sasin Alumni network has grown to over 5,000 members, a group that includes executives of Thailand’s top business groups, prominent national government leaders, and executives in top multinationals.

3

Transformative Action Learning

Our programs are built around what we call Transformative Action Learning. Action Learning includes meeting real-world challenges, implementing solutions, and reflecting on results. Students will work on unstructured, complex, practical, hands-on issues. They will also work in diverse teams to stimulate creative curiosity, questioning, and reflection and tackle complex problems. And they will generate clear, action-oriented results.

Action Learning Labs. We firmly believe that exposure to real-world situations, multiple cultures, and global business problems is essential to developing successful leaders. The Flexible MBA integrates an international perspective throughout the program, giving Sasin Flexible MBA students a diverse range of opportunities to gain international business experience and work in global teams. We offer a growing variety of global options and collaborations such as the Sasin-MIT Action Learning Lab, the Sasin-Fudan Thailand-China Lab, and the Sasin-Tsinghua SEM Thailand-China Lab, the Sustainability Lab, and the New Ventures Lab.

World-class international faculty

Sasin originated the practice of blending courses taught by visiting professors from top management schools around the world, with our own core faculty. This model has since been adopted by many business school programs.

All Sasin faculty, whether visiting or core, have graduated from top schools, and bring global insights and experience to the classroom. Our courses bridge theory and practice to provide participants with the latest, best ideas and practices, in a way that emphasizes real-world application. Because Sasin faculty remain close to business through their consulting and research activities, they can share practical cutting-edge insights. About 60% of our courses are taught by visiting professors.
